New Bank Holiday; Snow stops work - who is paying?

I'm going to do my grumpy old man bit here...


I thought it was quite bizarre when David Cameron announced that 'he' was giving everyone a Bank Holiday for the Royal Wedding in April.


Is it just me or is it actually us, the employers who pay for this. I assume all staff will expect to be paid for the day they have just been given off, and I don't suppose the government have considered that businesses may not like such an assumption.…

We data wipe all hard drives as standard and issue a wiping certificate. Give me a ring and I will take you through what we do. In most cases there is not a charge (conditions do apply)
