Security for the MCE

Firstly i would like to say hello to you all and thank stewart for allowing me access to this site. As some of you may know we are trying to provide night time security to the MCE utilising multiple K9 units to reduce or eliminate the issues that have been highlited.

We have come up with several solutions and have been asked to attend a meeting by the Medway council and the police to discuss our proposals, however, we do need the support of everyone to get this going. Also if any of you have any security or safety issues then please let us know so we can factor these into our proposal.

we would ask you to let as many companies know of what we are trying to do so we can get things moving before the summer.

Hi Jason

We are based in Centre Court at the back of the shops, this area seems to be used in the evening

as we are left with loads of rubbish including drink cans, MacDonald wrappers etc. We have our small

landscape area maintained on a monthly basis and yesterday the gardener took away a bag full of

rubbish, today its all back again! I don't know if you have visited Centre Court or not, but it does seem

to be a "hang out" area.

Hi Lesley

I was at centre court today having a meeting with the council and we have spoken about the rubbish and people hanging around there at night, and we have come up with a proposal to help with this and other issues on the estate.

we are arranging an open meeting with members of the council the police and members of the mce so that you can let them know of your concerns, and i would welcome your attendance at this meeting so you can tell them face to face so we can these problems resolved. i will let everyone know the date and time when this has been arranged, in the mean time if you could let me know of the issues you are faceing then i can let the council member responsible know of theses issues.

Hello to all i have had a meeting with the council about the issues on the mce and have been asked to arrange an open meeting with members of the mce, council and the police so that you can tell them face to face of the issues that concern you on the mce. the time anddate are yet to be finalised, however this is your chance to air your views so please take it. if you wish to attend this meeting then please let me know so i have an idea of numbers. please spread the word to all your contacts and take this opportunity as it may be the only one we get.
