Charity trusteeship

Mega-charities like Oxfam and Mencap get most of the publicity about the sector but by far the greatest number of registered charities are very much smaller, with less than £1million turnover.   Some of these are very local and others have a wider scope, but what most have in common is the struggle to get active trustees.   Signalong, based at Waterside Court, has 4 speech therapists and a retired teacher trainer on its board, but needs new trustees with business experience to help to guide its work.  If you can help please contact me, or if you want an idea of the spread of charities based in Medway try getting in touch with CVS Medway
